Introduction

This is a project I started after watching a video essay talking about the current web and introducing myself to neocities. I thought it would be fun to start coding a page because I love customization, expressing myself and despise instagram's UI. Plus, I would like a fun place other than my dry diary to speak out my mind and share my works since no one really cares about that anymore, just posting yourself with your ass out lifting weights on social media getting a ton of likes and making someone's life miserable.

It's all about those brainrots and mogging and looksmaxxing and sigma and whatever the hell the kids are talking about that make me lose my faith. It's terrifying. This indie web movement it's so welcoming since there is no constant impulse of posting just to feel that I am a person and not just a spectator to everyone else along with the urge to show a version of myself that doesn't even exist just because a rat is watching. Those feelings are too hard to overcome in just some positive phrases and affirmations in a couple of days, so I find comfort in old technology and closed spaces even if I didn't really get to experience them in their golden days.

With the sudden rise of AI and even more standards for just breathing people have been doing this too, avoiding the masses and boycotting as many greedy companies are out there.
